I was trying to practice portrait shots with my mom, but the kids kept wanting to be in the pictures, too. I would have liked to have tried more poses and lighting arrangements, but it just wasn't working with the kids around. So here's one of the 'better' shots. The shutter speed was too slow for the fast moving kid, but like I said, I was intending to just photograph an adult who could hold still :-)

I think this is a great shot. I like the lighting, the "mature" woman angle and most of all your wiggly son!!!
